News & Details

The Vernon Avenue Bridge is slated for construction in 2025 and will not affect the 2024 parade.

Parade Details:

The parade begins at 10 a.m. behind Edina City Hall (4801 W. 50th St.) and travels down 50th Street ending at Halifax.

The hour-long parade features veterans, marching bands, floats, horses, musicians, clowns, and more.

We recommend spectators arrive early, since an estimated 20,000 people will attend the parade. The parade will also be broadcast on Edina TV (Comcast channels 16 and 813) and made available later for viewing on the City’s website, YouTube channel, and social media.

  • The 2024 Edina fireworks will be held on July 4th.

The First John Philip Sousa Memorial Band will play at Rosland Park on July 4th with fifes and drums starting at 8 p.m. and the concert at 8:45.

  • There are no changes in 2024 to the parade route or parking. View our 2023 map to make your plans.
